"The room was clean. The bedspread was a nice touch with the matching pillow sham. The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The walk to the beach was very close. I walk slowly and I was able to get to the beach in 10 minutes probably 8. I will definitely book my next visit with Ocean View. THANKS GUYS."
Renovated Emerald Isle Cottage - Private Oceanfront Parking & Boardwalk Access

"Second stay at this cottage and it was as wonderful this time as it was the first time. The cottage is so well equipped and it is really comfortable. The beds were excellent and everything was in working order. We didn't cook as much this time but what we used was nice. There is even a drawer of spices and coffee and tea bags. Clothesline is perfect for hanging suits and beach towels. Grill outside worked great and so did the outside shower. The newer reclining couch in the sunroom was quite comfy too. Location is convenient and the private beach parking made it easy to get to the beach. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Heather for a lovely vacation cottage!"

"The house was really nice...clean and well maintained. Walk to beach is as described, 5 minutes. Another plus is the luggage/grocery elevator that was so beneficial to my old bones. Traffic noise was minimal. Enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be able to return next trip."

"My wife and I have stayed in the Emerald Isle area more than 10 times, always a house on the beach. This was the best place we have stayed so far. Great location, great view of the beach and great furnishings. The owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive. I would stay here again and highly recommend it."

"Almost like brand new. Renovations were well thought out. The kitchen is the best we've ever seen. For a second row house, the view of the ocean from the top floor is still spectacular. This place is definitely worth the price. The refrigerator even has an ice maker and filter so it's not necessary to get several gallons of water from a store (for those of you who know what water tastes like at seaside resorts)."
