"The staff were very accommodating. When we first arrived in the center of the view from our window was of a tattered covering for an air conditioner unit on top of the adjacent motel. We were disappointed because we had planned to stay 3 nights and to spend some personal time in our room. We asked the desk clerk if there was another room available, and he was very kind and gave us a very nice room that we enjoyed for the entirety of our stay. In the coffee bar there was silverware, plates, bowls, glasses and liquid creamer in the fridge. Very nice touch. The water in the hot tub needed to be changed, but the area was nice and the tub comfortable. It is an older hotel but the rooms have been renovated, although in some places the age showed. It was clean. Breakfast was definitely more than a continental, with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and waffles. We enjoyed our stay"

"Peaceful house, great location and well stocked place. Enough room to place a large dog kennel next to the kitchen table.Neighborhood is really quiet which is exactly what we needed. The crestone book was an interesting read and recommended perusing. Only suggestion is to add a deck of cards, uno, skipbo like games to the collection of games."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious and comfortable. The kitchens and bathrooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels & linens were provided. The furniture and decorations in the home were very cool especially the tin collections. The main town of Crestone was a short walk away where we enjoyed the Elephant Cloud Cafe and enchanting shops. The view of the stars at night was amazing. The Sand Dunes National Park was something to see along with a Hindu temple along the way"
