"The place is great, nothing really is close but the rooms have a kitchen so you can take your one food to cook which is awesome! The place is stocked up with things to use and everything was very clean. We had a great stay!!"
"The rooms are being renovated and mine was clean and like new. I think more room improvements are coming as I'd describe it as 'spartan'. I only needed a nice clean bed and great shower after a day of hiking and biking and this was just fine. "

"Amazing property! Great location near lots of hikes, some nice towns nearby that are fun to explore, and of course that view is really why we chose to stay here. Wonderful waking up with coffee on the deck watching the sunrise or enjoying a cocktail while watching the sunset. The driveway is long and brings you deep in the woods, the place is nice and secluded. There are miles of private hiking trails on the property that we loved exploring. You will not regret booking this place."
"I can’t say enough about this place - from every little detail, they thought of everything. We stayed here between two hikes and it was the perfect place to rest. Everything was comfortable and inviting. We booked the upstairs queen room with a private bathroom. And to our surprise it had its own sitting area with mini fridge, coffee station and microwave with chairs. Absolutely perfect to sit and enjoy. It’s so clean, and so adorable. The balcony has a great view and it was wonderful chatting with others who were also resting between hikes. They are so welcoming to dogs as well - our dog enjoyed it and was just as comfortable.. The staff is amazing and incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back as we plan more hikes in the high peak region and we honestly can say it’s just as much of a highlight as the hikes!! Thank you Rooster Comb!!"

"Beautiful, cozy and so quiet, in the heart of ADK! My husband and I came to the Adirondacks to photograph an elopement and of course hike, bike and explore this beautiful neck of the woods. We travel frequently and can I say, the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in, in all our travels. We couldn't even hear the road, it was so quiet, peaceful and had everything we needed. I loved the stone sink in the bathroom and stones in the shower, it was like a foot massage. Even the Adirondack futon/couch was super comfy and so restful after our long hikes and bike rides. Keene has it all and within walking distance to amazing locally owned stores and high end, organic groceries. We will definitely be back. Thank you! "Our stay at the Loft was perfect. We were looking for a place to stay while we climbed the high peaks for a few days, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The Loft had everything we could have needed, tucked into a quiet and private location. The house was immaculate and so well designed for the space. The amenities were thoughtful and of quality. The location was also perfect, just a few steps away from a wonderful restaurant and no more than 20 minutes from other high peaks neighborhoods and locations. We can’t wait to stay again for our next climb!"
