A Wonderful Stay Was Had By All

"The house has been updated and renovated beautifully. We had all the kitchen utensils, etc. that could need; however, we thought it would have been nice to be left more than one roll of paper towels and a half-roll of toilet paper in the downstairs bathroom. I didn't go upstairs so I don't know if that one was a full roll. We were told ahead of time we would be left one roll so we did bring some ourselves. We enjoyed reading the photo book about the family's experience buying and getting the condo in shape. So glad they took the time and effort that it required. We all had a very relaxing and enjoyable time and didn't mind the bit of noise from the next-door renovations. So glad we had a golf cart and the hand-cart for takiing our luggage, etc. to and from the dock. We loved the view from the porch and the beach was lovely. A perfect time of year to visit. We'll try to visit again and will most likely book this condo again."

Little Gasparilla Island Paradise: Walk to Beach!

Gasprialla Get away

"This home has a beautiful and nicely decorated porch that over looks the bayside. Great for morning coffee of dinner in the evening. The size of the house was perfect for my family and myself. It was a very short walk to the ocean and a super fast walk to the dock. There wasn't a diswasher in this home. Paper plates are helpful espcially if you have a family and do not want to wash tons of dishes. Kitchen didn't have some cooking tools that were needed. (measuring cups etc) If you need chairs for the beach you will have to bring them. The house says chairs, but only has one. One shower didn't have a shower head and only dripped water. "

Salty Mermaid. Beach House on Little Gasparilla Island. Come get salty!

"The Salty Mermaid is a great place to stay on Little Gasparilla! It was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. The 3 bedrooms all had comfy beds and sheets. The bathrooms were nice and clean, and the showers were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There were a lot of towels in the house, but if you use them all, there is a washer and dryer included. There is a dining room with a table that seats 6 people. The couch / TV room is comfy and spacy. The TV appears to be 70 inches, and had subscriptions to most major streaming providers. The kitchen was very nice. Well stocked and very nicely decorated. We cooked dinner most nights and enjoyed eating on the back deck. There are numerous outdoor seating options that are comfortable and well thought out. There's even a fire pit stocked with wood! I can't say enough good things about the Salty Mermaid. We'll definitely be back. One thing to know is that the house is elevated similar to most of the houses on the island, so you do climb steps to get up to the house. This was not a problem for our family, but is something to be aware of if any one in your party has difficulty with stairs. "

Experience the charm of island tranquility with this enchanting 4-bedroom

Deserted Island Paradise

"First thing you need to know that it is on an island not accessible by car. You must take a water taxi that is 20 per person each way. I didnt know this until 6 days before arrival. There is also NO stores, reaturants, or anything else to buy. There is an island delivery service that will bring groceries for a fee. With all that being said, it was an amazing get away. We basically had the beach to ourselves and everyone was very helpful. With no restaurants, we had fun cooking meals together and had lots of dance parties. It felt like we had no neighbors and were about 100 yards from the shoreline. The beds were comfortable and the rental agency checked on us daily to make sure everything was going well. I was thrown at first when I found out about no cars on the island but it ended up being an awesome experience. I look forward to bringing friends back again. Again, the beach to ourselves was the highlight of the trip. fee. There are no cars on the island."

"My gf and I had an amazing time. We really enjoyed this quiet peaceful island. The unit was impressive, clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need. The water taxi was easy to use and the captain was friendly. We enjoyed the pool, walking the beach everyday, finding shells and shark's teeth,taking naps and cooking meals. The sunsets on the beach were amazing. If you truly want to wind down, this is the perfect place. We want to return one day!"
