Free breakfast was very disappointing compared to normal options available at a complementary breakfast

Great for a quick overnight

Posted 16-Sep-2016
Pros: Love the location.
Cons: Clean carpets and bedspreads more often.
Location: Great location with easy access to hiking, sailing and cycling!
Checked in late, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be improved as there were not hot choices or protein, but the coffee was fresh and hot! The room was due for a deep cleaning- carpets etc., but it was otherwise clean.

Not the Best...

Posted 04-Aug-2016
-location was good, near mall, near Dillon Marina -3 smears of poop on the shower curtain -every new day, our room cards had to be re-programmed -1 ice machine in the whole place- ice given to you if you went to the front desk from purchased ice bag -window wouldn't open all the way to let cool mountain air in, airco broken and had a note about how to not turn it up -short staffed at the front desk, had to wait a long time to get them to do anything

They didn't have the room ready, 2 people called in sick. Ice maker broke down. Front desk girl rude. smelled like a smoking room.

Pay a little more and stay somewhere else!

Out of all the hotels I've stayed at, this was my least favorite experience.I think it was quite expensive for that I got (what you get is probably something I would had paid 50 bucks for). The room was somewhat clean, but there was no shampoo, conditioner or tissue paper. When I asked for those items, the front desk said they didn't have any... also the towels were stained, but looked clean. Thankfully the bed was comfortable and clean. Although my stay wasn't the best, other people had it worse.. at least 3 other people that were checking in were telling the front desk guy they unmade beds with dirty bed sheets and dirty rooms.. Seems like they had no housekeepers, on the 2nd night I was there the front desk guy was cleaning rooms himself at 11pm. My keys never worked in the evenings, when I asked the front desk to reset them, he said to knock on the rooms door as they may have given the room to another guest, mindeed you all my stuff was still in the room! I was so upset, but the guy didnt do anything to assure me otherwise. Thankfully no one was in my room but I wouldn't check out of there fast enough in the morning. Although it was very close to the highway, I will NEVER stay there again. Wish I could get a refund.

The most horrible experience

Posted 27-Jun-2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
The regular staff had walked out the day before and instead of canceling guests until they restaffed no one was notified , the waiting room was full of people, dogs and babies, the rooms were dirty and I was forced to try and find a place to stay , I made my reservation's a week in advance , so on the busiest time of year on a Saturday night I had no where to stay.

Toilet was not clean, pee stains in toilet.

Pros: The guy/receptionist who checked us in was so very friendly. Appreciated his friendly, smiling, positive greeting. Smile goes a long way these days!
Cons: Make sure bathroom is clean. Hotel could be an older hotel, but as long as it's a clean room, I'm happy to stay.
Location: Went to a local concert at the lake, very relaxing and enjoyable! Husband enjoyed fishing in the stream, up until he came across a homeless campsite.
Experience overall was good, except for the comment above about the toilet. This one thing can really spoil a stay!

Housekeeping Nightmare

Posted 27-Jun-2016 on Hotels
When we arrived around 9:00 p.m. from a 13 1/2 hr. drive we checked in went up to our room only to find that the rooms had not been cleaned at all. Dirty beds, bathrooms, food, drinks, etc.,etc. There was only one employee working that night and he had 7 other rooms he was checking in at the same time we had arrived. I felt terrible for this guy Al-Laquan because every guest checking in had the same problem. On top of everything else a young boy had had a seizure and paramedics and firefighters were trying to escort kid off in and amongst this madhouse of a lobby. One guy was yelling and threatening Al. We ended up asking for cleaning supplies to clean our bathroom.. We had to make several trips down for clean sheets and towels as was only able to give us limited supplies at first. We had to do quite a bit of work after a long day but some times you have to make lemonade out of lemons!
