"We loved our stay in Stonington. The house was perfect for our family. Everything you wanted was walking distance. Great restaurant just 2 doors down. The town in quaint and a great place to go to relax. We did Eco tour which we really enjoyed. Stonington is not the place o go if you are looking for touristy type things to do. It is for those who want to relax, hike, kayak and just enjoy the views. We bought lobster from co op and steam at the house. Perfect"

It's a great location; close enough to the park and Bar Harbor to hit all the big spots, but nicely super quiet and isolated.
