"Almost like a boutique hotel, we loved our stay here. Breakfast was excellent, even for a vegan and so fresh and the staff were so helpful at every stage. It is in a great location with quiet rooms and yet straight into bars, restaurants and shops. A 5-10 minute walk to trains, the harbour and the funicular and other attractions. It definitely felt like a treat to stay here. We would have liked a more defined bar sitting area but this was at the edge of the restaurant and the alternative was just a simple set up of tables and chairs so lacked any real ambience."

"The location was perfect for access to Bryggen in one direction and the city center in the other. The staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful, most especially Jakob who was determined to problem solve an issue in our room. It was nothing major, just a small annoyance with the TV settings, but Jakob figured it out and seemed happy to be spending his time solving the issue. The bed was comfy, the heated bathroom floors were delightful, and the provided robe was the best robe I've ever worn. The breakfast was superb, featuring what felt like endless options, and it was served in a gorgeous setting. We were here celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. My husband had called ahead to have flowers and a note waiting for us on arrival. The Bergen Børs staff went above and beyond by leaving rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed in addition to gifting us a plate of chocolates along with the bouquet my husband purchased. Our stay here was wonderful and the perfect start to our trip to Norway."

"This was a huge unexpected surprise! We flew in a few days early to Bergen as we were cruising from this port. When we booked this hotel I did not know afternoon tea and a light dinner were included. The breakfast was fantastic, tea was wonderful and the snacks were a welcome treat, but the "light dinner" was a true meal! No need to eat out. Also, when we checked in we were upgraded to a suite! This was amazing. The room had a living room, large table, separate bedroom. and 1.5 bathrooms. Outstanding. All if the staff were great! Silva was a really nice lady that worked the breakfast shift and she was always so pleasant."
