Very nice room with the sunset ocean view

I like the layout of La Toc resort that we stayed on the bluff suite and activities were carried on down on the beach. The staff is extremely nice to us. The good part about the sandals in St Lucia is that you pay for one resort and have access to all the 3 resort in St- Lucia. Every day there are shuttle buses to get you anywhere you want. The quality of food in La Toc, however, is way below my expectation. Compared to those of Sandals Grande St- Lucia, the restaurants in La Toc are very mediocre. Sea at La Toc is very chippy, not very good for swimming, kayaking or sailing. So we stayed in La Toc and did a lot of activities in Sandals Grande St- Lucia, where the water is much calmer.

Quite satisfied

Firstly the staff were so great. Almost everyone who worked there asked me if wi as happy and said hello when I walked by them. Food was good, way better than Mexico 5 star but not as good as a cruise. I would have liked to have more snack food available after 9:30pm. Not really anything but some late night pub food. Room and beds were comfy. I loved the in the loop, which meant you could send them a message online and they responded and completed your request within 15 minutes. Need more soda or your room cleaned, done! I really liked that option. Evening entertainment was kinda the same every night but not important to us. Breathtaking views all over the resort and we would recommend this resort to anyone.

Service was weak, amenities were good

Posted 11-Nov-2015
Pros: Amenities
Cons: Service speed, and enthusiasm
Location: Joe Knows Tour was fun.
Amenities were all there but in most cases the staff wasn't out going or even reliable. Service was slow and people seemed lazy and uninterested. The amenities were real good, tennis courts, volleyball, nice beach, croquet, shuffle board, paddle board, etc.

Great romantic getaway

Stayed at Sandals Regency La Toc for or honeymoon. The resort, staff, food, drink, activities and amenities were phenomenal. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a honeymoon or romantic vacation with a good balance between fun and relaxation.

Great trip except for the length of travel too many connecting flights and a long layover in Dallas

Resort was nice and well kept. Could use more entertainment, and more meal options. Breakfast buffet was the same every day of our stay.

Eh just go somewhere else

Posted 02-Jul-2015
Pros: The food was unbelievably amazing. I have nothing bad to say about it. In fact, it was the best part of the trip. I recommend the Piton restaurant.
Cons: The whole place just seemed mass produced. Maybe because it is part of a chain. Cosmetically it could use some work.
Location: We did an excursion, My Toy Boat. It was a lot of fun and totally worth the money we spent on it. Our tourguide was easy going and funny.
So I was disappointed with Sandals La Toc. It wasn't bad and I am sure 5-10 years ago it was a lot nicer of a hotel, but it seemed a little run down in some areas. The "standard room" is quite small, the "balcony" isn't a balcony at all, it is a glass sliding door that has a railing in front of it so you don't fall. While we were there the elevator stopped working for almost 2 days (we were on the 7th floor), our safe stopped working, and at some point we had no faucet or shower water. We were on our honeymoon (along with almost every other couple there) and were supposed to receive a complimentary champagne. I must have reminded the front desk once a day for it at least the first 4 days we were there. We never received the champagne, and at some point, I just gave up and realized that we were never getting it. We had no room service since we were in the "standard room", but you were permitted to go to the restaurants and get food to go. There are employees who walk around and take pictures of you while you are at the pool are walking around. You can purchase the picture for $16 a photo! If you buy multiples, it reduces the price to $10 a photo. The quality isn't great, and the pictures are out of focus. I thought that it was ridiculous and plan on going to CVS to print out the pics we took. Also, they don't tell you about all the things that are included in your package. We apparently had spa credit but didn't know until after we went to the spa. All in all, it was just eh.

Beautiful resort very romantic.

It was great. Beautiful resort very romantic. My wife and I really enjoyed the weekly vacation we had. The food was good in all the restaurants, stuff was very friendly and helpful, the entertainment was good, We like the all inclusive sports activities. A big plus is the possibility to visit the other 2 Sandals resorts on the island. This gives you the opportunity to see swim entertain and eat in 2 different places so you do not feel you are stuck in one place only.

holiday 2015

This a great hotel with very friendly staff. The food is of a high standard. It can be difficult to get a sunbed if you are a late riser. The bar staff work very hard but at times there can be a wait for drinks. There should be more pool side waiters to serve drinks and snacks. In other hotels we have stayed in this sevice was better than Sandals. I would look at the excellence chain as a good alternative.
