"I really want to give this property five stars! It was as advertised as far as the included amenities, proximity to the beach, availability of nearby restaurants, easy access to historical sites in St. Augustine. 2br/2ba was perfect for us. We didn't need the 2nd br, but a spare bath is always nice. Breakfast at the property every morning bonus. Also, the walk to the beach was very short! We watched the sun rise on the morning of our departure, and this was quite memorable!Maybe I missed a memo, but the reason for four stars was that it was a little unclear how to contact the host. We had a few minor problems: sent a text to the number we had communicated with prior to arrival (iTrip?) but got no response. Sent email to an address I found and did get a response. At this point, I'm not sure if it was to the VRBO person we rented from or iTrip. Anyway, our problems were that the tv in the br we chose to sleep in didn't work, bathroom door in that br didn't latch correctly, safe didn't work, and we had a few problems with both toilets, to the point we had to manually add water to the tanks in order to flush. This only happened once per toilet, but once was one time too many.Bottom line: we WOULD stay there again, but we would ask questions about these fairly minor problems (toilet probsfairly major) to be sure these were fixed. I always hope to leave a 5 star review, and without these reservations, I surely would have done so."

"The pros: amazing, quick response from the VRBO/property management team. Like lightning fast! The condo is cute, spacious, has everything you need in the kitchen, plus some nice things like an air fryer and a ton of spices in the cabinets above the cooktop. You can see the waves cresting from the patio and hear the roar of the ocean when it’s quiet outside. Parking is right outside the door, and there’s only a tiny curb and a tiny step up into the unit (maybe 4 inches) if mobility is an issue. The giant sofa is awesome! Lots or room for all. We could not figure out how to adjust the thermostat but it stayed a cool 71-73. The less great things: the master bath shower handle is very difficult to turn. They should be getting it fixed. A maintenance person came by & said they had to order the part. The guest bath is hard to turn too and the hot/cold are reversed in both the sink and tub. That’s an easy fix that needs to be done. There’s some scratches, dings, stains, and picayune things like a crooked vent in the master bath and a chunk of peeling tile behind the guest toilet. These aren’t dealbreakers, and I understand the churn of STRs. But a little deep cleaning and TLC can go a long way! Some instructions for the remotes for the lights, fans, the “fireplace,” and the TVs would be helpful. The last weird thing is the pool handrail. I’m barely 5 feet tall, and it only came up to my thigh. Be mindful if you need it for balance. You have to hunch over to use it"

"This trip was for a much needed sand between the toes experience and museum/history passion. The location was so convenient,quiet, and pleasant. Details like beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels made beach time so comfortable. The short distance to the beach made watching sunrise truly “awe”some . Close proximity to the lighthouse, Castillo de San Marcos, and Alligator Farm easy to squeeze lots of other museums, sightseeing and beach time into a week! Kitchen is well appointed and beds are comfy. Host was helpful and responsive. It was a great way to check off another item on my bucket list!"
