Unfortunately, in summer, the house is a 5-bedroom, as one windowless bedroom is locked, and the 2 upstairs bedrooms get oppressively hot.The outdoor areas were great and the host tried to fix the many issues we had during our stay, but fundamentally, the house, beds, furniture, tableware and appliances are old and all areas are cluttered with some cupboards full of personal effects.We had several issues, including a repeatedly flooding toilet, mild electric shocks from the built-in fryer, a non-functioning washing machine (which was replaced), kitchen and bar fridges unable to stay cool, taps coming off, slow wifi with poor coverage, daily bird excrement due to nests in the eaves and unvacuumed bedframes with a suspected bed-bug skeleton.Given the issues we had and, more importantly, the lack of the advertised sixth bedroom, I requested a discount. In response, I received a very personal criticism that we broke items and spent too much time at the house rather than the beach, which resulted in increased electricity and pool chemical bills. Not what I expected given the friendly welcome we had and the 1000 per night price tag." Was only able to locate property after Expedia agent contacted owner and told us the property was located at Sesimbra Cliffs. Once we were able to get to property, person showed us all around and very friendly. Nice ocean and city view. Provided no cooking supplies, only a few spice bottles."
