"Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, had a stocked kitchen, and even had two kayaks at the dock for use. The boat dock was great for the boat with electricity, running water for cleaning, and deep water. Jon was the perfect host, with quick communication and was very helpful. The views of the lake were gorgeous from this home, and plenty of outside space to enjoy. The only thing that I would recommend would be better lighting for the outdoor paths in the evening, as they were very steep. We did trailer our boats and 4-wheelers, I would be mindful of this as the roads are very narrow, windy, and hilly as you are coming into the neighborhood/home. Overall, a great place and would stay there again!"

"We stayed at Southern Comfort 1 for our annual family get together. The house was perfect for our 3 generations of adult couples and singles. The house is three levels, each level with bedrooms, a common area, and a deck overlooking the lake. Two frigs on the top level frig and commercial ice maker on the lower level worked great for a large groups food and drink needs. 3 tables on the top level worked perfect for group meals, games, and cards. Bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. AC worked well; humidity was oppressive the week we were there. Lake houses take a beating but this one was in pretty good shape. Dock worked well for swimming and hanging out, plenty of chairs on the top level for those hanging out. We brought a 26’ speedboat and had plenty of room in the slip. Local ramp 2 blocks away was a plus; avoided a 20 min drive and 25 launch fee at closest marina. Boat trailer parking was challenging but appears ok to leave on green space adjacent to paved roads if lot is full. Cannot leave the vehicle attached to the trailer though, must park in separate designated area. Driveway is steep but manageable for all of our (older) crew. DO NOT try to bring a boat or trailer down the drive. Plenty of room to park our 6 vehicles. Marybeth was extremely responsive and helpful, one of the best hosts we’ve had. Highly recommend and we will be back in the future. "

"This house was perfect for our large family vacation! It has a very well stocked kitchen. I loved that this specific property was at the end of the road/cove. We had no boat traffic whatsoever. The storage on the dock was also so nice to have to avoid lugging things up and down those stairs that we were using down there regularly! We did have some tvs that were malfunctioning and the property managers responded very quickly and rectified the problem immediately. The industrial ice machine was such a life saver! The only semi-bad thing I will say about the house is that the king/ bunk room combo by the bottom deck back door, would not cool off like the other bedrooms. The pictures posted here are deceiving as far as the dock. I originally thought you had to share a dock with your neighbors but that is not the case. Also sugar hollow marina is close enough that if you send 1 person to get your boat rental it only takes about 15 minutes to get to the house so you could always pick up your group! Overall great stay and i’d book again at any of their properties. "

"We enjoyed our week very much. The house had everything we needed in room for all eight of us for kids for adults. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and so new Mary Beth made the rental process very easy and was super accommodating! "
