"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"We just got back from a 4 day stay at this gorgeous house and the only thing wrong was that it wasn’t long enough!! The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is spotless with a well appointed kitchen and lots of space on the three levels to relax. The beds are comfortable as is the rest of the furniture. And the views are incredible. The housekeeper and host are amazing. Very easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful. We look forward to returning to Casa Do Mar soon! Thank you!!"

"What a lovely home, with extraordinary views of the ocean. Our group of 4 couples was able to settle in easily, with all of the necessary comforts. During our stay, we enjoyed the nearby trail to the beach and the extensive walking/running trail along the main road. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked many meals there. "A beautiful villa which was very clean and had everything you would need. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every utensil we needed. "We had a most wonderful few days staying in this lovely apartment. The hosts were so helpful and the location perfect - quiet and relaxing spot. Te area is quiet and a short walk to the beach or the local shops. Sao Martinho has a fantastic selection of restaurants for all tastes and budgets. The house holds heat with little cross ventilation if bedroom doors are closed. We had to open the sliding doors. No screens so I got a lot of mosquito bites. We loved the location and very private."
