A Million Dollar View Above the Clouds
10/10 Excellent
"Secluded getaway. Quiet. Time to reflect."
Peaceful Mountain Cottage, Deck with Gazebo
10/10 Excellent
"Love this place! Will visit again!"
Waterfront cabin with mountain views; 26 minutes to downtown Asheville.
10/10 Excellent
"My family and I had the absolute best time! This is a beautiful little cabin in a quiet area. Easily accessible and close to Weaverville, NC which offers a beautiful main st with all the southern mountain charm you could ask for. Make sure to try Twisted Laurel if you head over it is delicious and the patio is pet friendly! We brought 2 teenages and 2 small pups and they had the time of their lives. The homes is very well maintained and we loved opening the windows to enjoy the mid 60's at night in August! There is a family of ducks who wander at night and seeing lightining bugs tickled us all. Thank you to the host for making their space available we will be back! Only thing I would suggest is if you are big cookers like we are bring a little fan for the kitchen it doesnt get as much air flow but it is super well stocked with everything you could need (air fryer basket, slow cooker, griddle, plethora of pots and pans)."

Black Mountain Retreat: Newly Renovated Luxury, Game Room, VIEWS, Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"The view is amazing and the property is wonderful! We celebrated my husbands 50th bday with friends. Everyone loved the property and woke up saying the bed and pillows were very comfortable."
Dynamite Ridge | Mountain Home Near Asheville | Private Hiking
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at Dynamite Ridge!! We were there for 18 days and it started to feel like a second home. It’s very nicely built and the amenities were all so nice too! We walked over to Navitat and did their zip line course and some mornings we would just walk the dog over and hangout with the staff. There is a nice little trail over there and they have lots of fun games set out you can play… and snacks you can buy. We really loved the house! And Yonder (the rental agency) was amazing too! They were very responsive and we even met the owner a few times! Wow!! What a great guy. We have nothing but good things to say about this rental house. One thing you do need to be aware.. it is about a 20-40 min drive to most places. I didn’t mind that but some people might want to be closer to some areas of Asheville. We think it would be fun to come back in the winter… maybe see some snow! Oh, and we really liked the wrap around porch and all the land to explore and let the dog run around. What a great rental!!!"
The Roost, w/King bed and Mtn Views
10/10 Excellent
"This place is FANTASTIC!! It's quiet, peaceful, and has incredible views of the mountains. Don't let the drive up intimidate you because it is worth it!! The hosts are so nice and have paid attention to all the details that made staying here special, from the automatic nightlight in the bathroom to the games in the living area. I have now convinced myself I need a small cabin tucked high in the woods because I didn't want to leave. Black Mountain and Montreat are small towns with so much charm just a short drive away and if you're adventurous like we were, Chimney Rock is about an hour (which sounds like a lot but it's because you go through so many 35-mph zones), the Blue Ridge Parkway winds around the area the cabins are, and there are small lakes and hiking trails everywhere around here. If you're a birder, there are a variety of species found on the premises and I was greeted by a pair of Barred Owls the first morning and a Blue-Headed Vireo sang everyday while I sat on the deck. There are a ton of hotspots around that area also as well as the river bottom and wetland area at the bottom of the entry road. There is also a huge meadow on the road before the entrance road which might offer some owls and sparrows but unfortunately I was pressed for time and didn't get to thoroughly bird the area. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy Nature then I would highly recommend staying here. If you want crowds and noise you may want to look elsewhere."
Beautiful Mount Mitchell Home - Stunning views, decks & hot tub & endless hikes
10/10 Excellent
"Comfortable home with amazing views. Beds were really nice. Be sure to grab an extra pillow or bring your own. They are small. TV is a little tricky and the cable is spotty at best but the TV does give you plenty of streaming choices. There was only 4 of us but the home could house another 4 people comfortably. Would consider again with additional family members. Loved the breeze on the porch!"
Restored Farmhouse 1920s. Family and Pet Friendly. Borders National forest
10/10 Excellent
"I’ve previously listed superlatives supporting this property. I’ll simply say my wife and I can be a bit pedantic about our accommodations… this was our fifth stay here."
