"This is lovely, homely house in a truly beautiful location walkable to the beach. Its owners clearly stay there, so it's really well equipped. The layout's great and there's plenty of space inside and outside. Our teenagers loved the ping-pong table and we appreciated easy parking for our car and bikes. It was clean enough and perfectly comfortable - a little bit tired and dusty in places. The company that manages it is great though - great communication and flexibility for check-in etc.Noirmoutier is wonderful and if you're staying in the summer, take advantage of the free bus - it comes every hour from a stop 5 mins from the house.Overall, a wonderful stay."

"Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette maison vendéenne. Le beau temps était de la partie pendant toutes nos vacances. Elle est idéalement située car elle est à 300 mètres de la plage de l'océan et l'eau étant très bonne, nous avons bien profité de baignades quotidiennes ainsi que de promenades à vélo. Du point de vue logistique, rien n'est laissé au hasard (électroménager, vaisselle ....), tout est là ! Nous conseillons la location de cette jolie maison. J'ajoute que les hôtes sont des personnes très sympathiques et agréables et que les contacts ont été très bons."

"Sehr schöne und stilvolle Unterkunft in perfekter Lage sowohl zur Ortsmitte (Restaurants, Märkte) wie auch zum nächstgelegenen Strand. Isabelle und ihr Mann waren sehr nette Gastgeber, und das Frühstück war exquisit, abwechslungsreich und mit viel Liebe zusammengestellt und präsentiert. Trotz unserer schlechten Französischkenntnisse wurden wir mit tollen Tipps und Restaurantempfehlungen versorgt. Wir waren eine ganze Woche dort, da sind der kleine Kühlschrank und die Ablagemöglichkeiten manchmal etwas knapp. Für eine oder einige Übernachtungen auf jeden Fall unsere uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!"

"Beautiful hotel if your aim is to just flip flop around, lounge by the pool and soak up the sun and smell the surrounding pine trees. Think little lizards, pine cones and pina coladas. We had an upstairs room which had the most beautiful view. All the rooms face out onto the sea, and you get a beautiful light over the water in the evening. The balcony’s are mostly shaded too which is a good thing, it helps to keep the rooms cool. You can hire bikes (€14 / half day) and cycle across the island to the main town quite easily, around 30 mins and very flat. Breakfast was €25pp which we thought was quite pricey, so we decided to make the most of the little fridge in the room and keep some fruit and small supplies for breakfast instead. The lunch menu is a bit limited, mostly sharing / charcuterie style boards, but enjoyable nonetheless for a light lunch. The restaurant dinner menu was more substantial and very enjoyable, and the cocktail mixologist was superb, very calm, collected and made some excellent cocktails for us. Finally, the ‘beach’ is only really a beach at low tide and the water is extremely shallow when at mid-tide. At high tide the beach completely disappears which may put you off, but we were more than happy with the large spacious and clean pool right next to the beach with the ‘lazy river’ to enjoy too as a bonus, complete with sea air. Overall we loved this stay as a couple for our anniversary, and would definitely recommend it."
