The room was so cute and ac worked very well. No hot water but you definitely don't need it in Iquitos. "Very clean room with amazing river view with my booking. Extremely friendly and helpful spanish speaking staff - use (google) translate app if you don't speak spanish. Average pool and was under maintenance. Many shops on the same street if you are looking for chips, pop/soda, and juice. Most of the nicer restaurants are closer to downtown square which is 7-10 minutes walk only. Area of improvement: Breakfast! only very few options. Nothing much for vegetarians other than fruits - pineapple, papaya, and water melon. They can make some scrambled egg or fried eggs if you ask, but the portion is quite small for me. I guess I can keep asking.. which does make me feel like I am eating too much?"

"So it’s not right next to central Iquitos, but that doesn’t matter. Central is a quick moto taxi ride for very cheap, or a 15-20 minute walk. What matters to me is how nice this place was. Iquitos is a rowdy town. It’s lively with a lot of hustle and bustle. This property is not: it is serene. I loved it so much, I ended up staying an extra night. It’s calm, relaxing, and downright beautiful. Right when you walk in, you are met with a beautiful courtyard that centers a gorgeous pool. There’s a small bar and restaurant, excursion services, and a 24 hour service concierge. My bed was comfy and the hotel is quiet and filled with beautiful flowers and trees and plants (yes inside the hotel). Will stay again 100%. Ps. The staff were all incredible. Such cool people!"
