The best time to visit Pauini, Amazonas, Brazil is during the dry season, which typically runs from June to October.During these months, you'll experience lower humidity and less rainfall, making it more comfortable for exploring the Amazon rainforest and its rivers. The river levels are also lower, which can make it easier to spot wildlife along the banks and access certain areas that might be submerged during the wet season. This period generally offers clearer skies and more predictable weather for outdoor activities. For those interested in river excursions and fishing, the dry season is particularly good. The lower water levels concentrate fish, leading to better opportunities for fishing trips on the Purus River and its tributaries. It's also a great time for nature walks and observing local flora and fauna without the heavy downpours. If you prefer a more adventurous trip with higher river levels and opportunities for canoeing through flooded forests, the wet season from November to May might also appeal, though it comes with more humidity and frequent rain showers.
