"Checking in was the most confusing process I've ever encountered. They still have last year's check in instructions up, which are no longer valid. It was a nightmare finding the front desk. The apartment was clean and okay. The kitchen is not equipped to make a proper meal. Washing machine doesn't work. Sadly we were very disappointed."

They went above and beyond for all our needs, and the complimentary breakfast had a great variety of delicious options that the whole family enjoyed!"

"I want to live here! This property is absolutely incredible. It feels like you time travel, yet are so comfortable. It is cozy and beautiful and clean and so, so scenic. We should’ve stayed here for longer than 2 nights. Although removed up in a hilltop, you are less than 1 mile drive down to restaurants. We enjoyed the downtown and even explored a local carnival. Guadalupe gave us invaluable recommendations that totally transformed our initial ideas. We cannot wait to return!"

"Casa Palmela is a truly beautiful boutique hotel and an unforgettable place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such a lovely greeting, which immediately set the tone for our visit. The service throughout our stay was absolutely perfect—warm, attentive, and thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. There are many activities on and offsite that were very easy to arrange. The hotel itself is stunning, and our room was especially beautiful. We loved the gorgeous regional tilework, which gave the space so much character, and the amazing chandelier added an elegant touch. The complimentary bottle of local red wine and cheese board waiting for us was such a generous and memorable welcome. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wonderful buffet offering plenty of delicious options, and dinner at the hotel was excellent as well. Everything about Casa Palmela felt carefully considered, charming, and special. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined and relaxing boutique hotel experience."
