Would stay again. Exceptional staff…

We have just returned from a four night stay at this hotel Check in was very quick. Information on breakfast times and location of hotel very good. The staff were very friendly. We were on the sixth floor and our room near the lift. The room was a very good size. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of hot water. My only grumble would be that there were no shelves or drawers to put your clothes. There was only a hanging rail with half a dozen hangers. This did not detract from our stay. The hotel is very close to all attractions. A 10 minute walk from Westfield Euralille shopping centre. The staff were really helpful and pleasant at all times. Excellent position in the Old Town, but it was not very clean with the blood marks of dozens of swatted flies/mosquitoes on the walls and ceilings. Also not in great condition with missing door handles, broken locks and missing light bulbs. There was no air-conditioning which meant all windows had to be open due to the heat; this caused an invasion of mosquitoes (see above) and consequently the whole family very badly bitten. It is also a very noisy street with garbage trucks picking up in the middle of the night and in the early morning. I stayed at the Best Western Why with my wife and 2 children. In my opinion it is an excellent hotel. The location is very central, we could walk everywhere, no need for the car. We used the underground parking (additional charge), which was private, safe and right by the hotel. The rooms were very clean, modern and well furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a "spa" feel to it as the toilet was in a separate room. The toiletries were high quality Rituals branded which was a nice touch. We did not eat in the bar restaurant, but it was busy and looked good. The check in was fine and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was a buffet which was OK, did the job but quite to the same quality of the other features. Covid controls were good with plentiful sanitizer, screens and compliance with mask usage.
