The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. "We have arrived at the location and the host welcomed us and showed us the property and explained everything needed. The apartment is cosy and easily suits a family with two children as there are three bedrooms ensuring plenty of privacy. The bathroom is modern as the entire apartment and the kitchen is fully equipped. Parking on the street is no problem. Fully recommend to stay here."

"Merschbach ist in eine sehr kleinen Ortschaft, die selbst selbst keine Einkaufs- und Ausgehmöglichkeiten anbietet, ist aber ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Trier (mit dem Auto) oder Bernkastel-Kues (mit dem Fahrrad, Achtung Merschb. liegt in einem Tal!!). Die Unterkunft selbst liegt sehr idyllisch und ruhig. Sehr einladend ist die Terrassse mit den vorhanden Gasgrill gestaltet. Gerne wieder!"
