Kitchen appliances etc. As I was in Tours for a French language course, I spent more time in the apartment than the average tourist. "I like the location a lot bc I used the train station multiple times and it is just right there. There is a grocery store close by and a tram which are convenient. If you are a light sleeper as I am a white noise app on your phone will help with the street noise. Overall very happy there."

The host did give us access to the apartment more than an hour before scheduled check in time, but wasn't available when we called to be buzzed in. We were able to get in when another tenant opened the door to leave. The apartment was cleaned when we got there, but lacked some things we expected, like trash bags (every trash can was empty). "While being quite old, the place was well maintained and everything was in order. The location was fantastic being in old town and near lots of cafes, restaurants, and shopping as well as public transportation. Having a washing machine was a definite plus as we travel light and need to do laundry often."

"Loved the town of Amboise and how convenient Jacky’s apartment was to everything. Two couples shared the well equipped place with plenty of room to stretch out. Appreciated having comfy beds and bathrooms with enough towels. A few stairs to get to up to the apartment but results in a good view of the river. Being at the hub to the bridge is convenient. Luckily traffic noise wasn’t a concern. Our friends in the front bedroom would have liked opaque or blackout shades to block morning light but...

"Awful. It felt like a homeless person place. No AC, No Hairdryer, Shower head has to be held to be used, Dirty floors with circular burns in carpet, no toiletries or towels, no AC in fitness center, very sketchy area, dirty refrigerator, no coffee, very late checkin and very early checkout. Worst place I have EVER stayed. "
