"The problem with trying to give this property a rating is that the VRBO scale doesn’t go high enough! What an outstanding experience at this magical spot in beautiful Camaiore, Tuscany! The hosts Angela and Simone are incredible - providing a 5-star experience on every level. From greeting us when we arrived (now the exception with Vrbo properties), the decorating and attention to detail in the apartment, and the meticulous grounds and pool, we cannot say enough about our time there. Thankfully, we also took advantage of their private, catered dinners that they prepared, which were an absolute treat for the senses. An amazing experience that we will cherish always! We also loved the cooking class. We will make these incredible dishes when we’re home and think of our amazing hosts! We can’t say enough about our time there - it was our absolute favourite spot during our month-long vacation in Europe. Angela and Simone have set what the gold standard should be for hosting and 10/10 is not high enough. We’re already dreaming about our return!"

"Magnifique maison aménagée avec beaucoup de goût. Les équipements sont de grande qualité, notamment en cuisine. La vue est très belle, l'environnement calme et bien entretenu. Tout y est propre et fait pour se détendre. Loin de l'agitation du bord de mer la maison est un refuge de calme et de confort.Le propriétaire est hyper réactif, très agréable, disponible et à l'écoute."

"De hosts Angela en Simon waren erg vriendelijk en hebben ook leuke suggesties gedaan over wat er te doen was. Daarnaast was het prachtig bij de zwembad en in de tuin. Het dorpje was 550 meter lopen dus dat was ook erg fijn!"

"La struttura è immersa nella campagna, silenziosa e rilassante ma vicina al mare, consiglio di munirsi di prodotti x zanzare, con quelli abbiamo risolto il problema di essere nel verde. Abbiamo usato molto la piscina fruibile anche la sera. L'host Carla è molto amichevole e cortese, all'arrivo ci ha offerto anche la merenda."

"Ein schönes großes Ferienhaus mit vielen Bädern und reichlich Platz. Tolle, ruhige Lage und gute Ausstattung. Die Auffahrt ist ein kleines Abenteuer, aber machbar und beim 2. Mal klappt's schon gut. Uns - Familie und Freunde - hat es sehr gut gefallen. PS: Die Umgebung ist ein Traum für Rennradfahrer"

"The villa was absolutely beautiful ! We had such a relaxing stay, it really was home from home. Peter has everything you’ll need there, it really is fantastic. The view is just incredible and we spent many happy hours chatting at the table gazing out at that amazing view. And the pool - wow. Stunning. Peter was a fantastic host and helped us immediately if we had a question or needed a recommendation. His dogs are also the cutest if you get a chance to meet them! We will definitely be back. Thanks so much again Peter."

"Un séjour inoubliable !La maison est une merveille d'architecture, alliant parfaitement le cachet de l'ancien et le confort. L'extérieur est tout aussi grandiose avec son grand parc clos, ses arbres centenaires et sa belle piscine en contrebas. Un véritable havre de paix que je recommande sans hésiter. Mention spéciale pour la vue époustouflante qui change au fil de la journée. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir."

"Really loved this wonderful little resort. The 2 owners are on site all the time and are very concerned with our experience. We stayed in the new apartments. And they are spacious and private. Grounds are amazing. Way off the beaten path so we had to drive a long way, but Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio and Carrara are close by. Staff super helpful. "
Peralta Tuscany

"The Peralta is a complex of renovated, historic, Italian cottages high in the Apuan Alps. It has charm, character and fabulous views but our apartment was still well-equipped (wifi, aircon, parking, kitchenette, lounge chairs and dining table) and had two bedrooms with comfortable beds. It was remarkable value and the hosts Kate and Blaise were charming, helpful with fluent English. Blaise collected our bags from the parking area in their Piaggio, booked us a table at a local restaurant and because it was getting late arranged with Kate for her to bring us bread, butter, milk, croissant and home made marmalade in the morning for our breakfast. The local area is so pretty. The pool is high up above the apartments with fabulous views. It has been such a relaxing holiday! The drive up the hill through narrow, twisting roads is not for the faint hearted but isn’t as bad as you may first think - you just have to drive at a steady but slowish pace and prepare for each turn (with a wide swing). We were upgraded to a larger car by our hire company which in hindsight wasn’t ideal but even this made it down the hill and safely back to the parking area every day. Top tip is to warn people you are approaching a switchback by using your horn. The area is beautiful but even in late September it has been well over 30C every day, meaning our original plans to visit Florence were replaced by nearer places (Lucca, Pisa and San Gilignano amongst others). Thank you both for a marvellous stay!"
