Staff at reception where very rude barely looking up from their computers never saying hello or goodbye treated customers as a inconvenience the only time they Spoke to me i got told you broke a glass you must pay i did at no time break a glass it must have been a cleaner but to make such a fuss over a £2 glass is ridiculous
The room was good size the kitchen had the bare minimum of utensils the cleaning was always done well and the security team was friendly and helpfull was all just let down by the reception staff

It's an old hotel, not well maintained. Everything is outdated, from bedding, to towels, to taps, to the shower etc. You have to run the water for ages before you get hot water. Evenings you may get a luke warm shower. House keeping was inconsistent, sometimes your towels get folded nicely, some times they don't, sometimes you get creamer with your coffee, sometimes you don't. But it did the job. Staff was very friendly.

The property is in the middle of the Westlands; meaning it’s close to the nightlife. That also means you’ll be hearing the music into the early morning. The property was clean, with a friendly staff. However; no toiletries were provided. The basics such as toilet paper, paper towels, cooking pans. They advertise as an Airbnb experience; we found that lacking. It’s more of a hotel experience with extra space in the rooms. Which in the end is what we were looking for, due to our stay being 12 days. Also, the hotel has no signs to direct you to the rooftop pool and terraces. Which are the gems of the stay. It’s like they want to keep it a secret. You have to literally ask an employee how to get to these areas as there is no signage or elevator indicator to these floors. Once there; beautiful!!! Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and loved Nairobi!
