Mineral Lake is known for being the home of the 10 lb trout! This is located on the south-western side of the mountain and is a great day trip from the Seattle area. There is a boat launch and campgrounds at the lake, one only accessible by boat that is, by-word-of-mouth, unbeatable with a view of the mountain. A lovely place to spend some time visiting.
