Had a spacious twin room, there was a decent sized living area with a sofa. Check-in staff was friendly although I found filling in the tablet with details a little long winded. There was also a great locker section where you could lock away bags and store luggage when checking out.
The hotel has a nice art deco theme, however the room could do with refreshing as its dated and worn out. Although I booked a non-smoking room I think perhaps it used to be a smoking room as I could clearly smell smoke particularly around the bed area.

Very well maintained with friendly staff. Location is a 12-15 minute walk north of Kyoto Station. If you enjoy walking Nikish Market is about a 25 minute walk and Gion around 35 minutes. The hotel is steps away from the Gojo subway station and well connected by bus. We used cabs to get to a couple of the more distant sites like the Aryshiyama Babmboo Forest. Loved the complementary drinks in the lobby from 1pm-8pm (very welcome after long days walking in the sun). Overall, would recommend this hotel.

Location and room size are excellent. The number of clothes hangers are sufficient too. Only thing is that maybe they should use day light in the bathroom as I felt that it was too dim. We stayed for 8 nights but the room service didn’t vacuum the floor at all! I think they should at least vacuum the floor once since we stayed for so many nights.

This is a splendid hotel. Large well equipped rooms, great bedding and amenities. Staff were plentiful and super helpful. It's in a quiet location, so external restaurants are a 5 minute walk, and the crazy district of Dotonbori is a 1300 yen taxi away. If I ever go back to Osaka will definitely stay there again
