9.4/10 Exceptional! (1,009 reviews)
The best thing about the property is the staff- helpful, professional, accommodating. The worst thing about the property are the rooms. The building is old so the rooms are in need of constant repair. During our three night stay the living room wall heater needed to be fixed twice and the bathroom fan needed to be completely replaced. The shower leaked so badly that we had to leave a towel on the floor at all times to absorb the water. The rooms have a connecting door that is so thin that any noise, TV, conversation, music, comes right through. We will not be staying here again. That is too bad since the building was once beautiful and prestigious but time has taken its toll. And $70 per night to park a vehicle!

8.4/10 Very good! (7 reviews)
Little trouble getting in but host was responsive despite the late hour. I would have appreciated a more accurate description of the parking situation. Not only is there no parking on site, there is no parking anywhere close. The place is nice and roomy.

"Had I known the entire first floor was being renovated, I would have selected a different hotel. It was terribly inconvenient and there wasn’t any breakfast in the morning, as is customary for hotels like this. It took three tries for my key card to work when I was checking in and then on my third ..."
