"I can always tell when there is an individual owner compared to a “professionally managed” property. This one was great. Decent toilet paper, Kleenex furnished. A box of detergent instead of a handful of pods. House well furnished in comfortable furniture rather than just hard surfaces that management deems easier to clean. Kitchen well supplied and had salt pepper and other condiments. Much more like staying at someone’s house than my experiences with managed properties where they all seem to have gone to the same seminars on how to Cheap Out. I’ll stay here again. "

"The cabin was cozy, clean, and accommodating. It felt like a mini home away from home with almost everything provided for you outside of food! My literal ONLY concern was that the screen door was ever so slightly misaligned, and a couple of stinkbugs took full advantage of it (I'm a big wuss when it comes to stinkbugs). Otherwise, it was the most peace I've ever experienced at a rental place."

"We hosted our 2025 Family reunion in HSV. Adults and infants traveled from NYC, LA, San Diego, N. Dakota.... The property was perfect. Enough bedrooms for all and great common areas for games and fun. The big kitchen wa a hit as we prepared meals and warmed up bottles. The water front allowed for pontoon boat docking and we enjoyed the warm water of Lake Balboa. Check in and check out was a breeze. Voted most likely to host the next reunion!"
