We did not do a boat tour and talk to anyone about their location. On the second day while I was snorkeling in 5 feet of water approximately 30 feet from the beach I saw the first turtle eating off the ocean floor. I was startled to see it so close and was in awe of how beautiful it was. I assume the turtles are used to seeing snorkeling humans...

"The recently refurbished rooms were brilliant - clean and spacious. Each room has it's own personal Wi-fi which doesn't always connect and resetting with the TV...staff were very happy to help with this.
The staff were helpful but it was clear they were overstretched and needed more support especially at breakfast where some food was running out and tables needed to be cleared and people were awaited to be seated. It must be noted that the breakfast selection is superb with traditional Okinawan dishes, salads, hot drinks, pastries including the bitter gourd and seaweed.
The hotel is on an incline from the main high street but is a convenient location to central Naha. All in all a great stay."
