Great View!

Pros: Staff is courteous and helpful. Room is large. Extraordinary beachfront view. Food is great. Grounds are well kept. Security all around.
Cons: There should be drinking water for guests in the room. Map of the grounds should be on display. Shower stalls are way too small.
Location: Mall and the movie theater is close by. There's a nice golf course. Beautiful beaches and lots of places to hang out at night.
My stay was quite a pleasing one. My wife and I sat on the balcony and just soaked up the view as the waves brushed the shore filling the air with the sweet melody of nature itself. The total ambiance is quite wonderful and inviting. Will surely be back.

However, we have set up a water station in the Lobby area for anyone needing a drink of water outside of meal times. Bottled water can always be purchased from anyone of the outlets. Over-rated

A hotel's review is based on a few factors: staff, the property, service, rates, accessibility among other things. While the hotel is nice, the service is sub-standard, the rate is ridiculously high and has lost most of its basic charm it was noted for. Some of the staff, especially at the dining room seem so demotivated and lack the appeal to serve and in desperate need of training. There is no beach, as it is not recommended for bathing. The room on the other hand is beautiful. Bathroom area just a little small for this hotel's standard. Adequate parking. Well kept grounds. The food is quite good, breakfast was delicious. Some areas of the hotel appear to be condemned, some areas are covered with rust and have some maintenance issues. This hotel is maybe the best on the island because of its decor and size, but in terms of service, definitely not the best.

One of the better hotels in Tobago

First time stay here, having stayed at many other hotels in Tobago, first impressions were excellent. - staff was generally very friendly and helpful - updated facilities and modern, feels safe and secure - kid-friendly pool main pool - excellent food, breakfast was included and was a widespread buffet - clean rooms, spacious, nice view of ocean and lots of sea breeze - check in and out was very fast - hotel location is good. 5-10 mins drive from airport - you can call on a local golf cart shuttle to get around the hotel - ocean was very rough the entire time and not clean certain times of year so wasn't exactly a nice beach to bathe - main pool was sufficient but there is also a second smaller 24hr pool - need vehicle access to get to anything outside of resort, like other food places, groceries, major pharmaceuticals (minor items on site) - overall value for money

Regarding the beach, we do not encourage bathing since we are located on the Atlantic side of the island. The water tends to be rough and choppy most of the times. Might have been spectacular once ....

I can tell that at one point this place was spectacular, but time has obviously taken a toll on it. The facilities were great but the room itself was a bit tragic. The AC didn't work. The floors were dirty. The toilet bowl was stained. Rust had built up in the bathroom. You cant sell us on the free wifi when it doesn't actually work. One pool lamp was broken and my partner almost cut himself on it- very dangerous. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

Rude and Dirty

Pros: Views were fantastic. There is also a sea turtle hatching ground.
Cons: Staff and rooms cleanliness.
Hotel staff was not hospitable. I was told when I inquired about a taxi that "We are a hotel, not a taxi company". As far as cleanliness, the shower head was completely corroded, ants in the room, toilet was not cleaned, and the resort bathrooms were not clean.

Good location.

I liked staying at the resort. The staff should laugh more. They are always looking very tough as if they dont like their job. For the rest everything was excellent. Would stay here again.

Not pleased

We didn't have a good experience at this resort. We were not welcomed with a drink like others were. Our room wasn't cleaned proper upon our arrival. The food at the buffet was ok but overpriced. The beach was horrible you couldn't swim in it. The pool didn't look any better the day before we left they were doing maintenance on the main pool. Went to check out the pool in the front and I wouldn't consider that a pool. This resort is owned by the government and they really need to upgrade everything especially the staf. I would not go back there until they fix all the issues.

Pros: Location
Cons: Service at the bar was a bit slow.
Location: Location was great. If you are looking for a party atmosphere stay closer to town.
The view was great and so was the staff. Nice relaxing atmosphere.
