The whole hotel was neglected. Looks more like a construction site. Different from pictures online. Exterior ok but the interior was a sight. It stinks, smells of different types of bad things. I straight up asked the receptionist if room is same as how the lobby and downstairs looks, she assured me rooms are very good. I asked same question many times. I was taken to the rooms and I was immediately dejected and disgusted. Bedsheet was very dirty with stains, different types of stain, taken to another room and there were different type of bugs on the bed, insects still crawling on the bed. None of the many rooms I was shown was any different. I immediately contacted hotel.com and they tried to get the hotel to refund my money but hotel refused. I booked 3 rooms for two days. I did not appreciated the fact that I was not informed ahead of my check-in that I will be sharing apartment with someone else. That was uncomfortably awkward. The TV in the living room does not work. I informed the host and she apologized. The AC works. The room was cozy and clean. I appreciate having a working tv in the room. Kitchen was well equipped and pure water provided to help with cooking and brushing my teeth. The balcony was added value. Overall, my biggest plus was the host response. The host was responsive anytime we had a question. The security guard was also very helpful for quick errands, carrying our luggage up and down the stairs. Ebeano supermarket is quite close. So is Atlantic mall where we went bowling. For the price, it was more than a bargain. Having 2 rooms for 4 adults was quite convenient. If the host attends to the minor aspects we raised, future guests are in for an even better experience. If you live in the west, the neighborhood might be a bit unusual at first, but we had no problem taking a strolll around. Uber rides are easy to get. We’ll definitely be back when next we’re in Lagos.
