"Hotel is about 45 minutes from KEF airport and 10 minutes from downtown Reykjavik. We’re able to do an early check (paying a little fee). The staff were wonderful. They were very helpful and kind. Thank you! Stayed in the 6th floor. Room was clean & spacious. Bed was comfortable. Garage parking on-site. Breakfast was included with many options available. 100% recommended. "

We loved the small yet relaxing pool out under the structure. It had a very apocalyptic look and feeling. The chef makes the most delicious Atlantic cod dish and the quinoa burger is tasty."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grimsborgir. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved having the hot tubs in such close proximity. The breakfast that was included was delicious and had a wide variety. I would absolutely stay here again! It was a perfect base of operations for exploring Reykjavik and Snæfellsnes. "
