"This was a last minute booking when our other places on the island canceled on us. We spent one night here. The actual accommodations are nice and clean, but many areas of the resort are run down and in the process of being upgraded. This is a place for families with children. There are ping pong tables and Soviet era mini golf courses on the premises as well as a new floating bouncy play ground in the water. There are many places to swim and nearby restaurants. The real standout here was the girl working the desk. She was very helpful and always in a good mood. She gave the best customer service that we experienced during our three weeks in Croatia."

"As other reviewers note the surrounding area isn’t particularly inviting but it didn’t feel unsafe. We walked to and from the hotel including at night. Zadar is still pretty unspoilt and quiet compared to Dubrovnik or Split but more flights year on year bring more tourists with new hotels opening to accommodate them, in areas outside the old town, this being one. It is an easy taxi ride from the airport and 15 mins walking distance from the old town. It was clean and comfortable but our room was very small and quite noisy - could hear toilets and showers in surrounding rooms during the night. Staff were good."

"Nikolina’s apartment block is beautiful. We rented a two bedroom flat and it was spotless. There are two pools, loads of sun beds, chairs, tables and umbrellas. It is also a 2 minute walk to the beach. The town is a 20 min walk but we found it too hot and a bit dangerous with children so we got Ubers or Bolts. Nikolina is responsive and helpful. Thank you My only tip would be to be sure which apartment from the description specifically you have booked as the photos can be a bit misleading."

"Wonderful kind, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, fantastic view, great restaurant. Can’t wait to return. If you don’t have a car I would recommend booking a ferry transfer with the hotel. It is an easy walk but uncomfortable in the heat."

"We only stayed for the one night before flying home the next day but the apartment was beautiful and we could quite easily have stayed for longer, had everything we needed the only minor problem we experienced was that you had to use the front door key for the electric so when you are out of the apartment the electricity went off meaning the fridge/freezer went off and so did the boiler"

"Wir sind immer noch begeistert von unserem Urlaubsaufenthalt. Das Häuschen bzw. die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und geräumig. Wir hatten ausreichend Platz und Schlafmöglichkeiten zu viert. Die Küche war voll ausgestattet mit Grill/Fritöse/Kaffeemaschine/Toaster und alles was man noch so benötigt. Es gibt Waschmöglichkeiten und einen weiteren Raum wo Getränke frei zur Verfügung standen. Das gesamte Grundstück ist eine richtige kleine liebevoll eingerichtete Idylle. Der Pool und die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten sind das Highlight. Weiterhin stehen Fahrräder zur Verfügung womit die Insel erkundet werden kann. Es gibt ausreichend Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt um die Ecke. Viele Bademöglichkeiten gibt es ohne überfüllten Strand. Es war wirklich Perfekt. Die Vermieter waren sehr herzlich und immer für ein Wort zu haben. Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder. Hatten eine tolle Zeit."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Belvedere! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The staff are genuinely some of the friendliest and most accommodating people we’ve ever met—they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with spotless rooms and immaculate common areas. Everything was exceptionally clean and cared for, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The food was outstanding! Every meal was fresh, delicious, and prepared with great attention to detail. It quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. The seafront location is simply stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s also perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful city of Zadar and the surrounding area. If you’re looking for a family-run boutique hotel that combines warm hospitality, exceptional cleanliness, amazing food, and a beautiful seaside setting, Hotel Belvedere is the perfect choice. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!"
