There are tall palms, lush vegetation, colourful flowers, and a powdery ribbon of white sand around the whole island. Everything is well kept and very clean. Staff is welcoming and friendly, they are a great asset to the resort. My garden villa was of a generous size, loved the comfy large bed and the half-open bathroom. Food was of high standard consistently, the buffet was really varied and plentiful. The island provides a good balance between serenity and being active and bit more social, can do both. There are quiet spots, but also activities on offer. Personal highlights were the incredible spa - very high quality treatments and professional therapists at this beautiful facility - and the manta ray snorkelling trip. I do hope to be back some day! And in the meantime, absolutely recommend to visit, it’s just the right place for a wonderful Maldivian experience. All the staff looked after us with extreme courtesy and were extremely welcoming. Everywhere was very clean and cared for and the food very variable and to a high standard. Snorkelling was amazing we saw fish/stingrays/reef sharks/turtles/ resident heron. On our return we were met again at Male airport and looked after and helped to check in for our flight home. We saw sharks, many beautiful fish, and even manta rays, which was an unforgettable experience. The surroundings are simply stunning.
