There are tall palms, lush vegetation, colourful flowers, and a powdery ribbon of white sand around the whole island. Everything is well kept and very clean. Staff is welcoming and friendly, they are a great asset to the resort. My garden villa was of a generous size, loved the comfy large bed and the half-open bathroom. Food was of high standard consistently, the buffet was really varied and plentiful. The island provides a good balance between serenity and being active and bit more social, can do both. There are quiet spots, but also activities on offer. Personal highlights were the incredible spa - very high quality treatments and professional therapists at this beautiful facility - and the manta ray snorkelling trip. I do hope to be back some day! And in the meantime, absolutely recommend to visit, it’s just the right place for a wonderful Maldivian experience. All the staff looked after us with extreme courtesy and were extremely welcoming. Everywhere was very clean and cared for and the food very variable and to a high standard. Snorkelling was amazing we saw fish/stingrays/reef sharks/turtles/ resident heron. On our return we were met again at Male airport and looked after and helped to check in for our flight home. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, which was fantastic – amazing views, a spacious and comfortable room, and the nets overlooking the ocean were my favourite spot to lie back, relax, and enjoy the scenery. I also received a birthday cake, which was not only delicious but such a thoughtful and lovely gesture. I truly felt spoiled. During our stay, we also took part in art classes with an amazing artist.
