Great communication, room was pre heated on arrival, room has had some improvements which are great with work still to complete over time. Room was perfect for us and great view of the gondola.

Amazing hotel, excellent in every way

Comfortable beds, quiet location at night. Close to bus stop for tours and ski bus. Our booked suite was still being renovated unfortunately, so we were instead offered a smaller apartment. The staff made up for this with laundry and breakfast vouchers (we were unable to use these most days as the breakfast only starts at 8am, but the tour/ski busses leave at 730!). Housekeeping was very good. Rooms were warm and heated floor in the bathroom made a huge difference, thank you. Kitchen and lounge were compact but suitable. Would have been squashy for two couples, but was ok for family of four. Easy walking distance to bus stop for tours. 15min walk into town, with shops and restaurants, lake with tours available. Very pleasant town centre. Straightforward airport transfer on #1 bus and short walk from bus stop. We were able to leave our luggage at reception on the last day after checking out, to walk into town one last time before leaving.

From the moment we arrived at QT Queenstown, we felt genuinely welcomed. We happened to check in on a Friday when the hotel was offering their complimentary afternoon activity, a relaxing 15-minute shoulder massage, which was the perfect way to unwind after our flight. When we walked into our room, we were greeted with a bottle of wine waiting for us, and later received an additional bottle of champagne to help celebrate a birthday we were marking during our stay, such a thoughtful touch! The room itself was exactly as pictured stylish, spacious, and beautifully designed. The real highlight came when we stepped out onto the balcony: the panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown were absolutely breathtaking. A special tip to anyone staying: if you can, wake up early to catch the sunrise from the balcony, it’s truly worth it! The bathroom was huge, featuring both a spacious shower and a luxurious soaking tub, along with high-quality Kevin Murphy products, which added an extra touch of indulgence. Throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to offer great local recommendations. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus for guests, which was super convenient for getting around Queenstown and to/from the airport, just make sure to book in advance to secure your spot. There wasn't facilities to reheat food and the kettle was really small in terms of usage. The TV was really old and couldn't be used to access Netflix or any subscription channels. There was a in house cinema which could be booked at first come first serve basis and the complementary wine tasting was average at best
