"We have stayed at this property a number of times in the past. The rooms are generally large and quite quiet. They do allow animals, and on this occasion there was a dark barking loudly in a room which was not to far from ours. We could still hear the dog at 11 pm. The worst thing was that the heat could not be turned down below 20.5 centigrade. We opened the door to get some cool air into the room and turned the system off during the night. The rooms are owned by different people, apparently, and it may be that that is the case in this room only. The beds are very comfortable and the washrooms are great. The showers have massive flow, and Donald Trump would be happy with that."

"Please be aware, this place is really isolated. No restaurant or convenient stores around for 30 min drive. Front desk closes at 5pm, we were lucky to show up just after 5pm and they were still around to help us check-in. Also, this place is going through major construction as they are adding more cottages and facilities, really noisy during the day. (gym hours were 7am to 5pm... not convenient). But, This place is like heaven on earth. Cottage are hanging off the cliff overlooking the ocean...never thought we had place like this in Canada. Probably the most expensive place we have ever stayed in but worth every dollar. Highly recommend. Staff are super nice and very helpful. Even with the construction the facilities are very clean, there are staff everywhere cleaning"

"I missed having a coffee maker in the room. The reason was so "save on single use cups", however only single use cups were available in the Lobby coffee machine. I had to ask for a ceramic cup to use in the microwave. The hotel was a great location, but felt like a budget hotel with no "extras"."

"Grrat location on a quiet street but still close to get to attractions in Sooke. Very short drive to the potholes. Lots of space in the apartment, 2 big bedrooms and very large tv in the living room. We were all pleased with the snacks and breakfast foods provided."
