Positives: great breakfast, stunning location by the Mediterranean with island view, large pool area with slides and activities for kids. Staff from reception to housekeeping were very kind and attentive, though they often seemed tired – maybe due to long shifts. What is the best area to stay in Kazaviti?

The best area to stay in Kazaviti is the village itself, specifically the Upper Village (Ano Kazaviti) and the Lower Village (Kato Kazaviti). The Upper Village (Ano Kazaviti) is the heart of the historic settlement. It's characterised by traditional stone houses, narrow cobbled streets, and a very relaxed pace. You'll find a few tavernas serving local specialities under ancient plane trees in the main square. This area is superb for couples seeking a romantic and secluded escape, or anyone wanting to experience authentic Greek village life away from the crowds. The Lower Village (Kato Kazaviti) is just a short stroll down the hill from Ano Kazaviti. While still very traditional, it offers a slightly more accessible feel with a few more guesthouses and tavernas. It's still incredibly peaceful and retains the charm of the Upper Village.
