"This place is so unique and it’s conveniently located downtown. The front desk let us check in an hour early; our room was classy and very clean; it has a nice fitness center and sauna in the basement; and the hotel provided us with a nice welcome card and fruit tray in our room without us asking for this or charging us for it — what a nice touch. It’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. "

"Was a nice getaway for my family"

"For the most part our stay was good. Our biggest complaint was housekeeping. After 2 days of being there housekeeping had not come by to refresh our towels or empty trash. On the third day, after being out all day, we came back to our room expecting it to have been serviced. Still nothing. As we were resting, literally in our beds, housekeeping walked in without knocking! She said we weren’t supposed to be there, that we were supposed to have checked out, when we corrected her and confirmed our stay she was very rude. She did not apologize for barging in and when we requested more she was even more rude. "

"The desk clerk who checked us in (and out) was very friendly and helpful. Only issue in the room was that our shampoo bottle in the shower was empty. "

"Everything was perfect- plenty of supplies, including items typically forgotten on a trip. The kitchen looked well stocked with dishes & utensils, even though we didn't cook a single thing on our sister's weekend. Easy access to everywhere we wanted to go (especially DPAC) and lots of local places to eat. "

"My family and I had a great stay here. I noticed another comment stating its not in the "best area" it's just an older, culturally rich neighborhood and clearly people are finding the value in that and investing in it. It's close to downtown, RTP, the airport and if traffic is forgiving you can be in Raleigh in about 20 minutes! The house is amazing, beautifully appointed and the pictures are accurate. The host is very easy to reach and responds very quickly. I so appreciate that! This will be the first place I check for availability when my family and I return to the area."
