Piazza Hotel Nara

10/10 Excellent
"I had a very pleasant stay at Piazza Hotel Nara. Although the hotel is located right next to the train station and the bus loop, the room was completely quiet. The room as well as the hotel facilities were perfectly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate my requests, such as extending my stay on short notice without needing to change rooms. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the restaurant. Great selection of food, very tasty."

"This was my favourite place we stayed on our trip so far. It was so quiet and peaceful both in the hostel and the neighbourhood. It’s about a 20 minute walk to get to Nara Park and you’re likely to run into some deer on your way there as they tend to come right into town in addition to hanging in the park. There are laundry facilities and a smoking area in the back garden. Rice porridge is served each morning and there are free and paid beverages available. There was no staff on site due to the financial repercussions of the pandemic, but the autonomous luggage storage and check-in instructions were easy to follow. I will definitely be returning in the future!"
