"I was traveling with my husband and elderly parents. We appreciated the layout of the room as the beds weren't right next to each other, offering a little more personal space. The room was clean and staff was friendly. This was a very quick stay as we got in later and had an earlier reservation for a tour at Hearst Castle. It was perfect for our needs and provided a good value. I wouls stay here again"

"Great place, the room was spacious, clean and nice - comfortable bed and really nice linens and pillows. Jack at the front desk was great, nice, efficient, really informative, great guy. The maintenance staff was really nice, everyone was friendly. Love the fire pit! We will be back!"

"This is a lovely Inn. I stayed in a room with a view of the ocean and it was one of the best views I’ve ever had. This place is old, but it’s clean, if you want everything modern and up-to-date. This isn’t the place for you. The only drawback was the cell phone reception the only Internet available is via AT&T. If you have anything else, you will have no Internet reception."

"The room is big, clean and looks new. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices, like waffles, hot and cold cereals, eggs filled with cheese, bacon and potatoes and many more. The hotel is walking distance to the beach, restaurants and short drive to Hearst Castle, Cambria and Moonstone beach. We will definitely stay here again."
