"Staff really polite. Facilities clean & quiet . Restaurant really good & they even grow their vegetables on the property about 20 feet from the kitchen, fresh & delicious Thai cuisine. The cost of the room is reasonable all around in this area of Thailand About 1 to 2 times less than other areas of Thailand. My wife & I are visiting from the USA family. "Overall very good experience. A few things to be aware though...
Staff don't speak much English, so get a translator app on your phone (e.g. Google Translator with offline Thai language pack) before you travel.
Restaurant closes at 9PM, but there is a great place called Come Moon with live music. Only 5 minutes walk, and it closes at midnight."

"Excellent value for money. Big room. Lovely pool. Fabulous breakfast. Hotel was very quiet during our stay in early January. Very attractive location and grounds.
The beds were very firm. No safe. Proper showers were impractical due to absence of shower curtain.
But these were minor inconveniences. We had a great stay and were well rested."

"This is a budget hotel - so don`t expect anything more. It is good value for money and in a location about 10 - 15 minutes walk from Chiang Saen centre. There are no cafes close to the hotel so be prepared to walk or take a ride to the centre of Chiang Saen. The staff are friendly and helpful."
