Picked hotel due to Pet Friendly advertising

No working TV or AC, no shampoo, conditioner, or soap in room. Smelled of Stale Smoke. Continental breakfast was only bread & cheerios. Staff absolutely rude, bad customer service.

Pros: The staff.
Location: Close to restaurants and grocery store.
My son's stayed there for five days while stranded in Michigan. They told me everything was just fine. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff every time I called. According to the boys it was clean enough and the room was comfortable.

Both my sons got bit by something , tv was super old and blurry ,my bed was caved in in the middle, shower floor was dirty with hair on it

Pros: Location to ride
Cons: it was a Dump!!!
Location: Was not there to have a good time.
It was horrible!!! Never stay there again. Nothing more to say. He had no choice and it was overpriced for the quality of the room.

Acceptable based to age and well kept. Got me in quickly even though a little early. Easy access to interstate highway. Fuel and food nearby. Breakfast was at 7 am so I missed it since I left before 6 am.

Our stay was alright. We picked this hotel because we only needed it for one night. If we were staying longer, I am not sure I would have still chosen this hotel. Over all, it provided us with what we needed.

Pros: The microwave and refrigerator in the room.
Cons: Just about everything. See above.
The room was disappointing. The carpet needs to be replaced. The bed sheets just barely covered the bed. The noise level was disturbing. The bathroom had soap dispensers on the wall. The "free breakfast" was stale bread you could toast, a generic fruit loops type cereal, and a generic unsweetened flakes type cereal. Your choice of drinks were coffee, pre-made tea, and "juice" drinks that probably didn't have any juice in them at all. There were maybe 15 channels to choose from on the TV, one in Spanish. It was nice to have a small microwave and refrigerator, but that certainty did not make up for what it lacked.

Cons: Stay elsewhere.
Check-in took forever, as everything was hand-written. My room was cold; my brother's room was very, very cold. I was told by the guy at the front desk that the heat had been turned off for the season and the air conditioning had been turned on and nothing could be done about that. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty. The snotty girl at the front desk begrudgingly gave me 2 tiny bars of soap and told me I could go to housekeeping myself to ask to fill the dispensers. While I was getting the run-around from her, another group was complaining that their room was too hot, the air conditioning was not working, and they had no toilet paper. Even though the rooms were no-smoking rooms, they smelled badly of cigarette smoke. The walls of the room either had no insulation or were paper-thin; outside conversations sounded as though they were right at our door. The security guard who gave me blankets and the housekeeping girl who filled the soap dispensers were helpful, but the front desk staff did not care in the least about any of the problems the guests had. This place was a bare-bones, no-frills operation. I will never again stay at Americas Best Value Inn & Suites.
