"Loved this hotel. The rooms were spotless and bright. Hotel team couldn’t do any more. Great location to be able to walk out to the beach and parking . Parking is a bit tight in the hotel but overflow is available if full"

"The hotel is very nice and the owners were more than happy to assist you if required. A very good breakfast every morning and the place was quite homely and comfortable. Would certainly go back again for a stay and Railway Station and Bus Depot are within walking distance from the hotel."

"A comfortable stay, aided by use of a fan in the room which was needed because no air con in room and windows have security latches so only opens minimally. Nice welcome and every staff member we spoke to was courteous and friendly. Benefit of parking in the car park for just £6 a day was definitely an added bonus. Minimal cleanliness issues, scuffed paintwork and slightly dated furniture. One thing that is definitely needed is clean windows..we had a seaview room which was great but the windows were so dirty, inside and out so the view was pointless tbh. So overall would stay again if in the area"

"Excellent location, next to a lovely park by the beach. Our room was spotless and we even had a little seating area outside our room. Lovely and quiet at night. Parking was the trickiest bit in terms of getting luggage to/from the car park (a 7-8 minute walk) but we'd only gone for a night so we were able to do it all in one go."

"We had an excellent 2 night stay at Amber House. It was a spacious room with a sea view and had lots of little extras included-biscuits, assorted teas, coffees, hot chocolate and toiletries. Large television with good choice of channels and nice chairs to sit on. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice including dairy and wheat free which I need. Best bowl of fruit salad we’ve had anywhere. There is a small library of books and lots of DVD’s for use on wet days. The only minor niggle was we forgot to bring our own special pillows and theirs weren’t quite as comfortable. We will be back plus pillows."

"First time here but certainly won't be my ladt. As a regular to Torbay I definitely would recommend it but dont tell your friends otherwise I will never get in lol"
