Decent hotel with an excellent location
Hotel was not up to the level of other Jury's Inns but was adequate for the one night I was there. Best part is the central location to the main street where all the bars and restaurants are. Although depending on your love of music listening to street performers directly below your window may not be everyones cup of tea, it was actually a bonus albeit I was glad they were gone by 11pm.
Breakfast was below par for the £9 it cost. I selection of coffees would be a huge improvement given they have large coffee grinding machines which only spit out black coffee.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was very spacious and clean but lacked extra furnishings that would have made the room feel less vacated. An armchair would have easily fitted along with a small table. The TV in both rooms (my colleague also stayed) had the aerial cable knocked out so for perhaps the less techie minded it may have presented an issue.
Be warned the car park next door is perfect location but extremely narrow, we had a Vauxhall Astra and had to climb out of the passenger seat to get in and out due to the narrow spaces.
