"This hotel had all the makings of a five-star stay, but a few issues kept it at four stars for us. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would absolutely consider returning.
The Positives:
1. Location – You really can’t beat it. The hotel is oceanfront on Daytona Beach and centrally located near shops and restaurants, making everything very convenient.
2. The Hotel Itself – The property is beautiful inside. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We stayed on the 18th floor, and the balcony views were absolutely breathtaking. The hotel offers a beautiful infinity pool, a small hot tub, a nice pool bar, restaurant, marketplace, and gym (though we didn’t use the fitness center).
3. Staff – The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
Areas for Improvement:
1. Delayed Check-In – Check-in is listed as 4:00 PM, but our room—and several others—was not ready until nearly 6:00 PM. This was disappointing and almost caused us to miss dinner reservations. After spending the day at the beach and pool, it would have been nice to shower and get ready beforehand.
2. Pool Access & Wristband Enforcement – This was probably our biggest frustration. Guests are given wristbands to identify paying hotel guests, but during Memorial Day weekend, the pool and hot tub felt overcrowded with many people not wearing wristbands. While some may have been guests of hotel guests, it seemed many were locals using resort parking under the guise of visiting the restaurant or bar"
