"The staff ( Ahmad, Omar, Saif,…) was really helpful and they did everything they can to make me stay at this hotel when I first got there, now I will stay there every time I go to Cairo, staff are very friendly and doing their best with some limited resources. "
"Very clean room & bathroom, very friendly stuff & great location (safe and quiet area, plus it has a lots of stores and eating places nearby). The breakfast area and the drinking lounge are the best when you travel by group and you want to enjoy some quality time all togheter.

"The best part of this hotel is the owner and his staff. They are so accommodating, helpful and very hospitable. We felt so welcomed and safe coming from Canada. We would definitely stay again if we had the opportunity. Thank you Khaled and your team at The Location Hotel!"

"The Sofitel is perfectly located in the heart of the city adjacent to the Nile. The entertainment is such that you don't have to leave your hotel if you choose not too. The views of the Nile and sunset are perfect from the 3rd floor. The sunken tub is a dream after a long day of exploring the city. I would highly recommend and will stay here again."
"We had an upgrade to executive suites, with breakfast and dinner inclusive.
Room cleaning was done regularly. The female head of the executive suites was ver polite and supportive. "
"The room was new/modern. The beds including the fold away were really comfortable and the room had block out curtains so the room was dark which was great. Very easy to (free) park if travelling with a car. Great hotel would def stay again.

"I never leave bad reviews, but I had to say, this was the most horrible stay I ever had and ever will have in Cairo!
The rooms aren’t cleaned at all before your check in!!! The tiles and carpets had dust and dirt everywhere! Never vacuumed! The beddings were dirty and had hairs everywhere on top. The towels were stained and had cigarette butt burn holes. The pillows & mattress were bouncy and unstable, I kept feeling I’d fall off the bed! And on top of all this, the neighborhood had some sort of service dogs or something; they were barking ALL NIGHT!! Imagine hearing a hundred dogs barking every 10 minutes all night until sunrise!!
The bathroom was disgusting! The trash can was FULL of trash! The bathroom floor was smeared with dirt and had hairs everywhere, so obviously it wasn’t mopped! Worst part? The toilet wasn’t flushed or cleaned either! Can you imagine? Also, the bathroom only had 2 bars of soap; nothing else!
The breakfast was served late and incomplete! Imagine waiting for the staff to arrive to serve you a patisserie with coffee, not oriental breakfast!!
Everything about this place was a nightmare!
Just to give credit when it’s due, the staff members were trying to help, but it wasn’t their fault the entire place is a dumpster and lacks the basics of hotel service or human needs!!
Please don’t stay here; you won’t find the bare minimum of what you need. What’s listed by the hotel or reviews isn’t true at all. I was a victim of misleading advertising/reviewes!"
"Everything was excellent except one staff member who spoke to me with arrogance throughout my stay. He is at the front desk and his name is Ramses or something similar. When I first checked in he spoke to me with an arrogant tone and I was met with the same tone upon checkout. I didn't appreciate his attitude. Othe than that the hotel is what you would expect for that type of hotel. Other staff are friendly and helpful. "
