"Check-in was very easy, the room was ready and clean. Staff at desk was very helpful in securing a ride to the airport very early in the morning. "

"Amazing location and comfy bed, plus great heating / cooling system in the room. The lobby and stairwells had a bad smell. The rooms on the 4th floor of the second building have extremely slanted roof, which made it very difficult to get around the room and spend time in. My partner (he is 6 feet tall) even bonked his head a couple times and I nearly did as well (I'm 5'5), which isn't great. I imagine rooms on the lower flows don't have such a slanted roof, so may be better? We only stayed for one night, so overall it was fine but would not recommend the rooms on the 4th floor. In my opinion, these rooms should be further discounted given the how low the roof is and how much of an inconvenience / slightly dangerous it can be."

"Lovely helpful staff,very clean room,plenty of choice at buffet breakfast. Only slight disadvantage as a mature person, there was several flights of stairs no negotiate, and a certain amount of fitness was required to reach the room. A lovely gesture was the bottle of wine, which helped after climbing the stairs. The Pension was very close to the Metro and attractions."

"This is a beautiful old hotel. The staff were amazing!! We loved our stay here ( second for me) and would always stay here if in Lisbon. The British bar and breakfast were delightful."

"The hotel its self was clean , however we were disappointed in our situation that transpired. We arrived with knowing we could up grade , when I asked to upgrade to a 2nd bed we were told we were already up graded without our knowledge to a different view, so we had no choice in the matter . Now I made the mistake of accidentally not paying attention to ( how many people to add), however I did choose a room that had an option for 2 double beds or one queen so in high sight upon arrival did not think much of it … so my bad. Rooms are very small , and we have a teenager so we had to buy him his own room on a different floor which I hated, but had no choice ( he is only 13). It is what it is, but for the hotel “ being fully booked” we only saw a few people in and out .."
