"My husband and I spent a few nights here for our 10 year anniversary. The resort was great. We enjoyed being able to walk to everything we needed, the dining options, and the pool behind the spa. The river pool was a bit too crowded with children for us so we stayed away from that. The Mill was a great place for breakfast and lunch, and we enjoyed dinner at The James River Grille twice. Great food, great service and live music one night. The room could have been a bit cleaner in my opinion. We had a single king room. There were a few stains on the comforter, stuff left under the bed, a very loud air vent, and was missing simple touches like complimentary water for the coffee maker. Overall, we would recommend the resort. All the amenities made it worth it! "

"It was really good! The hotel room was clean and neat. There was a rainfall shower head. The hotel is being renovated so the outside looks like a prison but the inside looked amazing!! Elevator needs updating. But other than that we will definitely be back!!!"

"The check-in process was smooth. The room was clean and exactly as pictured. The dishes and linen were clean. The water pressure in the master shower was a touch low, but livable. A/C was good (95 degree day) and the appliances were fine. Plenty of free tv channels. Plenty of parking. The pool was fun. "

"The staff at the Inn is so helpful and accommodating, the breakfast is delicious. Plus the added bonus of a live history lesson on the Battle of Yorktown during breakfast was so amazing! "

Overall the property is nice, easy- fast - access to Busch Gardens (about 10 miles) -appearing to be partially complete in a apparant rennovation upgrade, with options like the game room currently to be filled, and no pool yet available. "The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The photos do not do the house justice. House step up: Four out of the seven bedrooms had their own bathroom. Each bedroom had a queen bed except the larger room that had 2 queen beds and a crib. Each room had a house size closet with a few hangers. There is a washer and dryer upstairs in the hallway. Location: the house is right off and busy bypass. The noise was not too bad. The house sits on a lot with another smaller house that I believe is also a short term rental. There is a large amount of grass and a small playground for the children to play. The large porch was perfect for the aunts and uncles to congregate. The house is 15 minutes from Bush Gardens and Water Country. Greatwolf lodge, Bollowerro and the Premier Outllets were within 20 minutes of the house. There is a Dunkin, Dollar Tree and gas station a couple blocks from the house. A Foodlion is about 5 blocks away. It’s not a neighborhood you can take a stroll in because there isn’t much scenery and sidewalks. They are building townhome next to the houses so there may be more development. Clean: extremely clean! I manage a corporate hotel chain and I was impressed by the cleanliness of this location. Supplies: the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and garbage disposal. There were some small trash bags under the sink. The house came with pots and pans. The house had a great amount of silverware and dishes. The cooking utensils looked new. Perfect Stay! "
