The bed was comfortable and had a good night's sleep. The ice machine didn't work downstairs, had to get towels for the room by going to the front desk. Our feet were black after walking in our room. Pretty good hotel, just needs a real good deep clean. And better breakfast.

I stayed in Room 5. On my own but the room is perfect for 2 people. Extremely clean. The Fujitsu mini split kept the room amazingly comfortable. Decorated with Bama stuff. AUTHENTIC Bama stuff. Mucho pleased. Had the opportunity to meet and speak with the owner. Super nice and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

From the photos I thought perhaps this would be a cool vibe/remodeled motel. I paid $500 a night (only place available for parents weekend on a football weekend). Location was so sketchy I would have left and slept on my daughters dorm room floor if my boyfriend wasn't with me. No housekeeping so no clean sheets or towels (serriously???). Only 2 very small bath towels. One tiny shampoo bottle that was only enough for one hair washing (again, no housekeeping). Bed was horrible - could feel the springs from the mattress all night and it squeaked with every motion. Next time I'll stay in Birmingham and spend the extra to uber to the campus. Maybe if less than $100 a night it would be ok, but if going to price gouge, at least have housekeeping and towels! Exactly what you'd expect from a motel 6, don't be fooled by the photos that make it look kind of cute!
