"We had a great stay at this 100-year-old Japanese home. The mix of traditional architecture and modern updates was impressive, and the house was clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. Tadao, the host was very responsive and made communication a pleasure. We only wished we had booked a longer stay. Would definitely recommend a relaxing stay directly across the rd from the beach. Beautiful place and town"

"The rooms are small, as described in the measurements online so it's quite tight for a family of 4 (w 2 small kids) but did the job for us. Check in was quick and easy for us, process is very smooth. Staff are prompt in responding to inquiries (front desk & room service). They come by quite quickly if after you make your phone call requesting for extra items. Washroom has a very high step which takes time to adjust to, a bit dark so hard to see how clean it is. The breakfast buffet selection is good, and the staff serving is good. It runs from 07:00 to 10:30\. For some reason, we were ushered out really quick on one of the mornings (at 10:35am) even though there were other people who were still seated at their tables. We loved there is an underground path to walk to get to Shinjuku station, it was very convenient for us. "

"Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We paid ¥60,000 per night and the moment we walked into the room, we considered leaving and booking somewhere else. Tiny room, wrong configuration, and the hotel was so overcrowded we couldn’t even get breakfast. To top it off, we saw the same room available that night for nearly half the price. Extremely poor value! would not stay again!"

"Breakfast buffet was not very good poor quality of food and staff constantly came to our table to let us know the buffet closed at 9:40am. We were there for a total of 22 minutes and approached 3 times about closing. The carpet in the room was stained and looked worn. We had to ask for pillows. Great location mediocre service "
