1. Pierre & Vacances Residence Le Green Beach

Port-en-Bessin-Huppain

"The property is lovely and the pool is great. The room was very dated. Non of our beds were made, there were no shampoos or bodywash..only hand soap for the sink. The kettle had chunks of white gunk coming out of it when we tried to make a cup of tea. I tried repeatedly to contact the hotel regarding our reservation with little to no reply. The manager said she would look into it for us after we checked out a day early, but we still haven't heard anything."

"Owners were helpful and tried their best with English / French translating. Pool was lovely- unclear on booking though that you got 2 slots a day - these had to be pre booked for the week on day of arrival. Apartment was clean and tidy on arrival - we hadn't realised we needed to bring all our own cleaning materials, bin liners etc but we will be better prepared next time. We were very grateful for our hire car as nearest shops were a bit too far for us to walk - especially in the heat we...

Top Cussy Hotel Reviews

Grand Hôtel du Luxembourg & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"The hot tub/pool and bar lounge were very nice along with proximity to restaurants"

Sure Hotel by Best Western Caen Mémorial

8/10 Good

"A warm reception from the staff, good English which always makes me feel guilty! Clean, comfortable and well maintained with every staff member engaging, helpful and professional. Rooms were comfy, food although a limited choice, was well prepared and tasty. Breakfast though was a little light on choice, but was ok. It has a small gym and a heated pool. My one little criticism is if it's raining there is nowhere outside that is covered. What i mean is there are no overhanging shelters of any kind. So if you are a smoker then rain will mean you need an umbrella. Other than that, plenty of parking, good location close to the memorial museum and only 30 mins from the ferry"

Hotel Le Lion d'Or et restaurant la Table du Lion

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel. Literally 1/2 a block from main street cafes/bistros. Within 3 blocks of multiple wonderful restaurants. Breakfast buffet is good, not exactly great but we went every day. Parking on site for 15 euros a day but worth it. Def will go back"

Kyriad - Caen Centre

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was truly a hidden gem. We discovered it on Orbitz after a very disappointing experience at the Ibis Budget, and we could not have been happier with our choice. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with fans and windows that opened, providing plenty of fresh air, which made a big difference. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. They also recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit we went there twice. If you're visiting Caen and looking for a welcoming, comfortable place to stay, I would highly recommend this hotel."
